The squirrel spent an hour at the gym daycare today while I worked out. I ran 1.5 miles on the treadmill at a nice slow pace and then did a free workout with a personal trainer. He was just ok… Not the best but I did get a good workout today. I joined with my best friend so hopefully she'll keep me motivated!
Lunch was an ancient boca burger. I think he's lived in a couple different houses with us if that gives you any idea. I hate boca burgers but he was the last one so I ate him. I covered it in spaghetti sauce, added some cut up string cheese, and made myself a pizza burger. I've been craving peas so that's what I had as a side. It was pretty good. The spaghetti sauce masked the yuckiness of the burger.
Boredom set in around 3... Like it always does... and this is what results...
PIGTAILS! Her hair is finally long enough!Oh I forgot to mention the nice bruise across her forehead. She wiped out...real good. What's new right?
I had oatmeal for dinner. By the time I made the squirrel and the husband chicken spaghetti I was spaghettied out. And now that I'm thinking about it maybe it's because I already had spaghetti sauce today. I picked at some noodles with no sauce and then opted for some oats... No picture because ya'll see my oatmeal all the time.

That's what's got me down. He just got home... He'll be in the states so at least I won't have to worry about his safety too much.
Another thing that has me not wanting to eat my veggies is Christmas. For some reason I've been being Mrs. Scrooge. Partly because normally all the hype of Christmas brings me down after it's over. Plus we are B-R-O-K-E so I've made it known to everyone that we aren't giving gifts this year so please don't give us any. Between vet appts and the husband being gone the money has vanished. It's made me sad because I like getting people things.
During the squirrel's nap I turned on some Christmas tuneage. All 40's Christmas music... None of that Mariah Carey crap. All the old school Christmas songs. Then I got to brain storming. I've come up with a good gift idea for everyone. Plus I think we are going to get our tree tomorrow. I need to make this a good Christmas because of the ol' pilot leaving. So instead of Bah Humbug hopefully I'll be saying Merry Christmas.
