I had such a weird appetite all day. I started with oatmeal.
1/3 a cup of rolled oats, 1/3 a cup of water, half a banana, a tablespoon of almond butter, a splash of milk, and the other half of my muffin from last night.
The squirrel ended up eating most of my muffin so I was just left with the oats. The things you do for your child...
A little while after breakfast we went for a run. It was so cold this morning. Probably 40 degrees when we ran. We bundled the squirrel and her baby in the jogging stroller. If anyone has kiddos they take on walks or runs you must have a JJ Cole Bundle Me. It has been a lifesaver. Pretty much like a sleeping bag for her stroller.
We started running... and for some reason I just felt like running!!! When I got tired, I slept. When I got hungry, I ate. When I had to go, you know, I went. Haha! Seriously, the husband said we ran 4 miles. It was the strangest feeling. Even after we stopped I wasn't tired. I'm surprised I ran so long since I was still really sore this morning when I got up. I am definitely ready for my 5k. After we ran I had a good stretch session while the husband did this...

He got this from a friend... Just more junk in our garage if you ask me. I can barely lift the stupid bar let alone put weights on it!
I was starving so I made lunch while he lifted...
Turkey and ham sandwich with sonoma cheese, and cucumbers. Plus Sabra hummus with veggies and a couple crackers for dipping. Grocery shopping tomorrow.
My eyes were definitely bigger than my tummy... I only got through half.
We had a quiet afternoon at home which is always nice. We had whole wheat gnocchi with C's pesto (awesome recipe), parm, and chicken for dinner. It was good but I really think gnocchi needs to be in a creamy soup or something. This is the second time we've done it in a sauce and they are just too doughy. I think they need to be cooked and ate like dumplings.

Plus the husband poured me some of that Rose... I guess he thought I needed to wind down... A giant glass...

I drank it all!
The squirrel is fast asleep and we both have a case of the Sunday's. The husband is dreading work tomorrow morning. I might not have to work but I go back to being alone during the day. Why do weekends go so fast?
