We did a bunch of cleaning and rearranging today for all of our Christmas goodies. It was a dull day here but a good one. Sometimes it's nice to just stay home and clean. Especially after such an eventful day yesterday.
Breakfast this morning was blueberry overnight oats.
Breakfast this morning was blueberry overnight oats.
1/3 cup oats, 1/3 cup plain yogurt, a splash of water, and a handful of blueberries.
Plus I got to use my new milk frother for my coffee! SO COOL!

Lunch was a multigrain tortilla with 2% cheddar and turkey. Plus some spinach and a spoonful of hummus. My turkey wrap tasted much better cut into cute pinwheels.
For dessert the squirrel and I split some more Ciao Bella chocolate hazelnut gelato.
After dinner we played hide and seek. Basically I chase the squirrel and she hides from me. She just started actually "hiding" yesterday. Before she'd just squeal and run.
She actually has some pretty good hiding spots...

I've got some couponing to do for my commissary shop tomorrow. Have y'all ever couponed? There are so many neat websites that offer good coupons... I save bundles!

That frother sounds amazing!!! OMG, I would be obsessed. ;)
Awww, what a cutie! I've heard that same thing about kids, but it's also true that their tastebuds develop and change so quickly at that age. That's great that she liked the peas!

what a cute kid!! that is so great she likes peas-i HATE peas!! haha she can eat them for me!
on another note..your turkey pinwheels=ADORABLE
Super impressed your lil one eats peas. My daughter's food repertoire didnt blast off til she was bout 2 yrs. She'll be 3 in Feb. The past year, she's pretty much a high raw vegan. Well, vegetarian b/c she does eat occassional cheese. Anyway though, great job w/ the peas. My hubs hates them b/c his childhood memory is overcooked mushy ones LOL
Your trip to Southport. I have ran SOOOOO many races in that neck of the woods and lived in Wilmington and waitressed in Myrtle for 2 yrs and drove up and down 17 thru/past Southport every day for years....wow, the memories!
Yay you get to spruce up your cup of coffee now! That's great about your daughter and the peas, i heard that about 20 exposures to foods before they decide if they lke it too. Have a good shopping trip tomorrow!
Haha...adorable pictures! :D
You're right, that it can take well over a dozen times before a child decides if she likes a certain food or not. Good for you for helping your little girl love all foods (especially veggies! :D )
You're whole day of food looked awesome! I want all of it! :)

This post reminded me about my frother! Must dig that out.
My son is 7 and his tastebuds are still changing. One day he likes a food item, the next not then he likes it again. I can't keep up!
PS: I use coupons ALL the time!!! ;)
