Breakfast was more eggs. Just plain scrambled egg whites on a toasted sandwich thin. Plus half a pear.
I had to pick up the squirrel around lunch time at Nana's. My mom was making french toast so the squirrel and I ate that for lunch. My mom makes the BEST french toast.
For a midafternoon snack I had cottage cheese, pear, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. It's such a wonderful combination!
The husband and I had a hard time coming up with dinner. I didn't have anything planned so he grilled up some chicken. He had a wrap and I had a BBQ chicken pizza. It was just a multigrain tortilla, with chicken, a tablespoon of BBQ sauce, and a sprinkle of cheddar. I also had broccoli on the side.
I blended a frozen banana, milk, water, and amazing grass in the blender to make a milkshake.
Notice anything missing in my diet? The only veggies I had today was broccoli at dinner time. I just spent a little while reading back through some of my old posts. I have really let myself slip back to some of my old eating habits this past month. Just because it's the holidays doesn't mean I get to gorge. Plus I've been lacking exercise. Tomorrow is a planned trip to the grocery store. I need to get back on track.
Anyone else feel like they are slipping away this month?

On juicing- I guess it does add a bit to my grocery bill, but I just love it so much I consider it to be one of those things that is worth it. It is so good for me and I love the taste.
I totally feel like I am slipping on the eating front. So many meals out and drinks. I'm trying to get as many veggies in as possible, which isn't too hard since I LOVE them!
The exercise is going to have to pick up in the new year.
I look forward to reading your blog in the future!
This time of year is so hard, but you'v noticed the problem so you can fix it. :) Happy Holidays!
I have been way off this month, mainly in terms of my vegetable and fruit intake. I have been eating more starches and grains, and sugars to make up for it! Yikes.
That dinner you created looks fantastic. I make those for Nick and I sometimes, we love the combination of BBQ sauce and chicken. It's great!
Pizza looks delightful! And I'm definitely going to try the cottage cheese/pear thing!
