A little too much info? Ehh maybe.
This is going to be a quickie post because 1) I'm tired and 2) We really did do much today!
First the food...
Breakfast was a whole wheat english muffin with Naturally More almond butter (this stuff is so good!) and Crofter's superfruit spread.

Lunch was "fried chicken" in a whole wheat wrap with sweet chili sauce and spinach. Plus a pear. All I did for the chicken was sliced it into strips, dipped it in egg white, then dipped it in a wheat breadcrumb/panko breadcrumb mix. Then baked it in the oven for about 30 minutes. Good stuff!

Towards the afternoon I finished my last Luna protein bar. You see... I was really excited about those stupid bars so I bought 5. Good riddance. It's not that they were thaaat bad... They just weren't what I expected...
Dinner was PIZZA.

HOLY MOLY!!!
If you ever try any of my ideas puuuhlease try this one. I bought a Boboli whole wheat pizza crust from the store. Before I baked it I cut out the portions. I kept 2 slices out and threw the rest in the freezer. Had the hubs been home we would have made the whole thing.
I put the oven on 450 and threw them in just to toast the tops. When they came out I cut a garlic clove in half and rubbed it all over the crust. THIS IS SOOOOO GOOD. Then I added Bertolli organic spaghetti sauce (tomato and basil flavor), chopped spinach, fresh part skim mozzarella, and 3 small chopped basil leaves. Then I threw it back in the oven until the cheese melted.
This was unbelievable. I would take this pizza over Dominos and Pizza Hut anyday. Plus it was healthy! You must try it.
Well that's it for all you foodies out there...
Now onto some squirrelage for the family...
Just some pictures of her today. She was full of it today... I love every minute of it :)
We had our dogs for about 6 years before we had the squirrel. Of course we were really worried on how the dogs would do when we brought her home from the hospital.
Why did we ever worry???
Her new spot to watch TV. Does Gus ever get a break?! Poor guy...
Houston... I think we have a problem...

Sometimes it's the little things in life...

And check out what she's learned to do...
Alright guys... I've got to rest up! Tomorrow we leave for Raleigh to run the Krispy Kreme Challenge!!! I've got to run 2 miles, eat a dozen donuts, and run 2 miles back. HAHA. I'll be lucky to run the first 2 miles... and I definitely won't be eating a dozen donuts.

Oh my word, that pizza DOES sound delicious! Will definitely be giving that one a try. I've been tempted by those pre-made crusts many a time, but I've also been really wanting to try making my own! We'll see how it plays out I guess :)
Have fun tomorrow - sounds pretty intense! lol
Hey girl! I love making "fried" chicken for Josh! So many uses. Great job on the pizza dinner. The baby/doggie pictures are so amazingly cute.
Combat rocks! If I didn't already teach 2 cardio classes (step/attack) I would have totally gotten certified in combat

OMG Gus and Squirrel! What a picture! I love it.
Great blog you have! Loved the photos, your little girl is adorable. I will have to adopt your idea of the pizza. I never thought of that idea of just taking the portion you need.
That pizza looks like it's from a restaurant! Great idea to only make a few slices. Squirrel is adorable, as usual...I love the picture of her "riding" the dog!

GOOD LUCK RUNNING TODAY! GOOOO KRISPY KREME
I'm totally going to try that pizza recipe! It looks totally yummy!
I love that you could hear squirrel grunting while she was trying to pull herself up! HILARIOUS! Not to mention her new favorite TV spot.
Dog bed: $30
Favorite jammies: $15
Watching TV from the best seat in the house: Priceless
yes, I've used those pizza crusts before and really like them!
I love making my own pizzas at home. They always turn out better than store bought, in my opinion!
Hey thanks for dropping by my blog! I love the stark contrast between squrriel and the dog in the first photo. So funny. And I'm so jealous you have so many dogs too. Er, just wondering why you call your daughter squrriel??
Great blog. I look forward to reading more :D

My little one uses the dog as her personal horse as well. I think it is so cute :)
Good Luck with the Race! I will be thinking of you.
Oh boy was she ever determined to get on that bed! LOL!
You can also buy padded bike shorts! I always say that biking is the only sport where women actually pay money to wear padded spandex! haha!!! Good luck on the race...can't wait to hear how it goes!!
where are the links to the blogs you follow? I usually read some of them too but can't find the links on the side of your blog...
Hmm... It seems as though my blog list has disappeared. Lovely. I'll put them back up asap!
Gus is a saint bernard mix... He weighs about 90lbs and is a gentle giant. We also have his sister and 2 more dogs. Definitely a housefull!
Squirrel is her nickname I guess. It's not her real name but we do call her squirrel at home. I use it on here to keep our lives just a little bit private. :)
Love your "fried" chicken. How simple is it to eat pure, healthy foods...the pizza looks great too.
Squirrel is on a mission to step up onto that bed! OK, the pups r so freakin' cute. I could have used them by my side the other day when I was alone on a looong mountain hike!
