It started with breakfast.
The squirrel and I had some yogurt and a Bobo's cranberry bar crumbled on top.

Same as yesterday...
Plus some coffee with foamy soymilk.

I went to a body pump class at the gym after breakfast. My entire body feels like jello. That's always a good thing!
On the way home the squirrel snacked on this little guy.

A "Spooky S'mores" clif kid bar. It's the first time she's had one so I tried it before I gave it to her. OMG. These little suckers are SOOO GOOD. I ate half the bar!!!
I had deja vu again at lunch time...

An Amy's burger with Sabra and brussels sprouts with ketchup.
This afternoon the squirrel had a doctor's appointment at the NICU clinic.
Since she was born so early (she was 1lb 14oz when she was born) she has been going to these appointments.
Her a couple days old.

Basically we see a whole bunch of doctors. A neonatologist, a nutritionist, a developmental psychologist, and a physical therapist all in one visit. They just want to make sure she is on track for her growth and development. Thankfully, she has never had any problems! She is healthy and on track!
She was a little pissed off that I had to wake her up from her nap to go... And she let me know. I think she's definitely trying to tell me something in the second picture...

Her appointment went great. They are impressed with her. They always are so it makes me really proud. Makes me feel like I'm doing my job!
Dinner tonight was pesto spinach pasta with more sauteed kale.

The squirrel loves pesto pasta!

Can you tell?

It really is easy. Just basil, garlic, olive oil, and a little bit of veggie broth so I didn't have to use so much olive oil. I also add the parmesan cheese at the end instead of in the pesto. I use less cheese that way! And the kale was the same as last night.
Plus we had a chocolate yogurt for dessert.

SOOO I lied about my giveaway. Well not really. Things just didn't go according to plan today... Look for it later this week. Promise.
See you guys tomorrow!

I LOVE how she looks like she is giving the L sign in the photo above! So cute! You should save that to show her when she is older.
Your daughter is ADORABLE with all capitals :-)
I love how she eats the things you eat, I have one son who eats everything and the other one is so picky!
My friend had her son at 27 weeks and he was barely over a pound, it's a miracle that technologies allows for these precious children to be with us, healthy and growing and happy!
So glad she's doing well!
Wow, it's incredible to see how far your daughter has come. She looks beautiful and healthy now -- thank God for blessings of a healthy child!
She was born at 28 weeks Syl. It was a rollercoaster ride the first couple months of her life but after she came home she thrived. I really love how she eats what I eat. Makes life so much easier :)

That spinach pasta looks good. I haven't had anything but whole wheat in a while, it might be good to switch in some spinach every now and again!

teehee, love the last shot of her :)
and i agree - aren't those z-bars awesome?? they're trying to shortchange us "adults" by labeling it for kids! Wish I could find the s'mores flavor.
Love the last 2 shots of the Squirrel!
I think DeJa Vu meals are great when you're really satisfied one day...why not repeat?
oh I'm loving your breakfasts!
My supervisor's daughter just had her baby 10 weeks early last Saturday....3lbs 8oz. All has been well until last night when the baby "stopped" being able to digest the breast milk that she's being tube fed. I guess they're keeping a real close eye on her. I just showed this post to my boss to keep her spirits up. Your baby is SO healthy looking now considering how absolutely tiny she was.
I LOVE Zbars...the honey graham flavor is the BEST! YUM!!!
I am glad that squirrel is right on track. She is so cute.
Can't wait to see your giveaway!
I don't know if you watch Glee but that's what I thought of when I saw the Squirrel do the "L" with her fingers lol!!
I really wanted to make pesto but my basil plant is pretty much dead so that's dampened my energy!

She is precious!
Have a goodnight!!!
Oh my gosh she was SOOOOO tiny. But now she is the most adorable kid ever- I love how she's giving you the "loser" symbol in that pic- that will teach you to wake her up haha
I love the squirrel. She makes me smile.
I also LOVE Z Bars so much. When I have kids, I'm totally going to buy them "for my kids" and eat them myself. Although I buy them for myself now...so I guess I don't need kids to pretend with. :-)
