NOT!!!
Haha. Honestly, I did terrible. I haven't ran in forever, the hills were HARD, and it was freezing. Literally, freezing.
I ran about 1.75 miles up and ended up walking part of the way to grab a box of donuts. Then my sister and I walked most of the 2 miles back. I may have had a bad run but we had a blast today! I did eat a donut on the way back and it was sooo sweet! I haven't had something that sweet in forever!
My mom was a trooper holding the squirrel the whole time at the race. The squirrel was pretty miserable in the cold. Thanks mom for being such a good Nana.
Us before the race.

Us after the race with the squirrel.

The prize.

After the race we all came back to my sister's apartment, got hot showers and headed out for some grub and shopping!
As we were getting ready it started **SNOWING**!
Of course we had to play in it and take some pictures!
My sister and the squirrel.

Me and the squirrel.

While we were playing the squirrel fell in the mud!
Let me tell you how upset she was...
Well you can see for yourself!

Completely miserable.
Nothing a little Disney store couldn't fix!

We had an amazing time today and definitely need to do things like that more often.
Tomorrow is back to normal! Hope you guys are having an awesome weekend!
Oh and I will definitely be doing a Bobo's giveaway. Stay tuned! :)

Awwww...poor Squirrel! I'm glad she got a Disney store treat. Is that a Tigger stuffed animal that she picked out?
so cute!!!! hahaaha look at you guys with your prize doughnuts, awesome! you had me fooled with your bit about winning the race :)
Congrats on the race!
Squirrel is too cute...good to know she's not afraid of getting dirty
Haha I LOVE it. So cute. Your daughter just cracks me up because she always has the most adorable look on her face!!
You should probably be *happy* you didn't win the race if it meant eating all those donuts at once! ;)
I am so proud that you even did the race! It looks like such a good time :)
When you said winner and 12 donuts I nearly choked! Thank goodness you did not win 'cause you would have been pretty sick afterwards. I am sure one donut was enough. Congrats for running even though it was cold out. The squirrel is precious as always. Glad to hear she got over the mud incident. I'll be on the lookout for the Bobo giveaway!!
Sounds like you had a great time! I can't imagine eating 12 donuts! The Squirrel is too cute smiling all muddy :)
Awww, she's SO CUTE. She puts a smile on my face whenever I see her.
Well even though you didn't win, you were still a winner for getting out there in the cold weather and giving it your best shot. And heck, no other race will handout DONUTS afterwards, so it was worth it I'm sure! I despise hills, so I completely understand walking most of it.
Have a great Sunday!
I love the Squirrel's attitude! If only everyone could feel that way over a little "mud."
that race sounds like a blast!!
That race sounds like fun! But not nearly as fun as falling in the mud!
I've always wanted to do that race!!
Your blog is so cute and I love that you are a fellow NC blogger! :)

That sounds like a fun race. I'm going to see if my sister (who goes to NC State) will do it with me next year.
