Breakfast was 1 cup of plain yogurt with a cinnamon raisin Bobo's Oat Bar crumbled on top.
These are my favorite bars... By far. Haven't we all tried them all? These are all natural bars that are so soft and chewy it's almost like eating a warm cookie. Not the mention the flavors are incredible. One turn off I have with most bars is they taste like a bar... They have that weird aftertaste. These are just so yummy. PLUS the squirrel LOVES them. They are her favorite too.
I picked up 3 bars yesterday and I guarantee they won't last the weekend.
What do y'all think of a giveaway for Bobo's bars? I've never done a giveaway before... But I really honestly love these bars. I was thinking of giving away a couple flavors to someone to try. Would you guys be interested? Who wouldn't be interested in free stuff?! Haha.
After breakfast the squirrel and I hit the gym. She went to socialize while I worked my booty off. I did 30 minutes on the bike and I about died. I have always hated those stationary bikes so I've steered clear. I really do think your body gets used to the same ol' cardio routine. I'll definitely have to be switching it up more often. My legs still feel like jello.
Lunch was an ogre with granola but no PB. We are eating dinner out so I wanted to watch my calorie and fat intake today. Good preparation huh :)
Plus I had my first Quorn chicken sandwich. I just put it on a toasted English muffin with some reduced fat cheddar...
I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to meat free products. Usually they are pretty gross (boca burgers anyone?). Gag.
As I was eating I waited for that gross fake taste. And waited. And waited. I even stopped about halfway through my sandwich to look at the box again.
This really isn't chicken??!!

It brought me back to those childhood cafeteria chicken sandwiches. All it needed was that big glob of mayo.
These are definitely a keeper! I also got the Quorn chicken nuggets hoping the squirrel will eat those. We'll see on that one!

Never heard of those bars, I must live under a rock, i would say I would love to try them, but if I like them and I'm not able to find them, your shipping bill would get rather high :-)

That's how I always feel when I eat Boca's Chik patties -- they taste JUST like chicken!

I agree- the Boca burgers are nasty! If you liked the Quorn chick'n, might I suggest the Morningstar Chick'n strips- they're delicious :D

I love Quorn products! They are soy free...how awesome is that to find a meatless soy-free substitute!! :)
I'm also really skeptical of meat substitues. If I want to eat meat, I'm going to eat it. Not some weird soy mixture!!

b. aren't the Quorn chik'n products AMAZING?! I swear by the tenders...and my first reaction to them was the same "Wait...are these fake or was I remembering/reading wrong?" haha. I'm not even a vegetarian, but it's so much easier/more convenient for me to prepare those than real chicken, so I'm glad they taste good and have pretty rockin' nutritionals :) I really want to try the turk'y line, too.

Quorn fake chicken nuggets....the comparison to the dorm nuggets drew me in. Used to love those fat filled things!
