I was hoping to crumbled them over some yogurt for breakfast like I do the Bobo's Oat Bars... No such luck! I tossed both in the trash after one bite. YUCK! From now on I'll stick to Luna's and Bobo's. Why do I waste my money on gross bars?! That's 3 in a row guys... Crap.
My giveaway bars were really tempting this morning... Buuuut I ended up using granola, banana, and coconut over 1 cup of plain yogurt. Still yummy!
Plus I had waaaay too many cups of coffee w/soymilk.
Guess what happens when I have too much coffee...
I clean. I emptied all of our bathroom cabinets this morning and started re-organizing...

Lunch consisted of half an Annie's single serve packet of mac-n-cheese. With a chicken dog and a pear.
The squirrel napped away the afternoon so I did some blog reading and more cleaning.
Dinner was leftover mexican chicken. But I added more veggie broth and some pinto beans to make it more soup/chili like. I also make some whole wheat cornbread to go with it.
Perfect for a cold, lonely Valentine's Day night!
Bah humbug... Stupid holiday with all its hearts and chocolate!
I'm kidding... Even if the husband was here we wouldn't be doing anything! We don't usually celebrate v-day. We also don't buy each other anything for Christmas. We just give each other endless LOVE ;)
My mom and dad got me some chocolate and a mani/pedi for when the hubs comes home! They made my whole Valentine's Day SO much better...
I hope your Valentine's Day was FULL of chocolate and love. Two of the most wonderful things in the world :)

HA. The Hubbend is NOT here. We made Valentine's for the Chiclet's sunday school teachers. And eating the leftovers is the extent of MY Valentines.

Not much chocolate but a lot of fun with friends. Trying to steer clear of chocolate and sweets. Did have a great smoothy with strawberries and papaya and that was very sweet.
Parents are the best! My mom always gives me a little goodie bag on holidays -- today it was some natural licorice (actually really gross but I won't tell her that haha) and a gorgeous bracelet. At least you got to spend the day with someone who loves you a lot -- your daughter! :D

Sorry about the bars! I've tried the Chia bar before (blech) but I liked the Pure bar!
Todd and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day either (really, we just don't want to pend the money!!!). That sucks about the bars... eat what you know I guess!!!!

I didn't think the Pure bars were that great either. And the chia one looks a bit scary! Have you tried the Clif Z-bars? They are really good.

We don't usually get each other anything for Christmas either. Because through the year as we need things we'll get them. Plus, now with the kiddo, it's much more fun to focus on her on holidays. I'm sure you get that ;) She is a cutie!

I have to say most granola-ish bars just disappoint me. Have you ever tried Larabars? The cocoa mole and cinnamon roll are my absolute favorites!

I go cleaning crazy right after long runs. It is SO STRANGE! I think it may have to do with my endorphins and having that carry over into other aspects of my life? Probably not, but that is what I tell myself. Lol.
