I made cereal this morning for breakfast because it was simple. Just Kashi Go Lean Crunch, with soy milk, and blueberries.

Since I couldn't take the squirrel to the gym this morning I decided to go through my Trader Joe's loot. Check it out...

Almond butter that was only $4! It's $10 easily here in the grocery store! Plus some multigrain sourdough bread.

I also bought this trail mix for the squirrel. It is delicious! It has raisins, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, almonds, cashews, peanuts and more. So glad I bought it!
Plus I bought some lotion. They had this up at the front while we were checking out and I sampled some. It says "unscented" but it has the most wonderful smell! It smells like those lime push up popsicles I used to eat when I was a kid. But it's not a strong smell. I bought one for me and one for the squirrel. They were only $3 a bottle!

For lunch I used my TJ's sourdough bread and made a ham, sonoma jack cheese wedge, and grainy mustard griller. Plus I had crudités with a tablespoon of lite ranch.

I didn't finish it all. I think I'm still recovering from yesterday!
I snacked on some cottage cheese and applesauce later in the day while I talked to you guys.

And for dinner I did some brown rice, shrimp, veggies, and veggie dumplings in sweet chili sauce.

And half of a Perfect Foods PB Bar for dessert. I won these from Kelly. They really just taste like a stick of peanut butter... SO good!

Thank you guys for the pilates advice. I think I'll try it tomorrow. If it's too hard I can always leave.
Here's another question:
Q. I'm a reader who just found out she was pregnant (you'll find out in a few weeks who!). I am really concerned about working out, I want to keep doing what I've been doing. What is your workout plan while you are pregnant with #2?
A. My workout plan is staying the same. Hopefully! Here's what I'm planing on doing:
MON- 30 mins cardio + 30 mins gentle yoga
TUES- Body pump
WED- Body combat
THURS- Off
FRI- 30 mins cardio + 30 mins gentle yoga
SAT- Body pump
SUN- Off
I will pretty much be doing the same weight consistently during body pump. I'll also be trying to maintain the same level of cardio. I'm just not going to increase my level of fitness. I hope to do that as long as I can during this pregnancy. I am not a personal trainer, fitness instructor, doctor, or dietician. My best advice is to run your plan by your doctor (which I will at my first appt) and listen to your body! If you are tired you need to stop. I think being pregnant takes a lot of energy. So if you are also pushing yourself at the gym you will just wear yourself out.
I did moderate exercise when I was pregnant with the squirrel. So hopefully my pregnancy story won't scare you! I was told by many doctors that working out did not cause her to come early.
I can't wait to find out who is pregnant! I've been watching all of your blogs to see who it is! SO EXCITING!

Not to spoil the surprise...but it's NOT me lol. I'm sorry to hear about the squirrel! I hope she feels better :(
Oh no!! I hope the little one feels better. I've never dealt with M throwing up and would feel so bad for her too. And have no clue what to do. I guess that's why God invented a mother's intuition, huh? :D
And be sure to let me know who the new preggo is when you find out. Since you know I'm trying, I would love getting to know others going through the same thing all while still focusing on the healthy lifestyle.
PS - Your approach to your workouts is great. I think its very reasonable to keep up with your current level as long as possible and adjust as your body needs. I think if we listen to our bodies everything will work itself out :)
Hope the Squirrel is feeling better. I know what you mean about feeling so badly for them. My kids are 10 & 8 and it still breaks my heart!
Loving the TJ's loot!
it's not me (praise the lord! although it would have had to been an immaculate conception anyway lol) poor squirrel! but wow she's made it this long without puking? good for her! hope she feels better soon. those veggie dumplings = delish
Your preggo reader is not me!
Poor squirrel. :-( I hope she feels better ASAP.
I can't believe you got that AB for 4 dollars! That's a steal!
I hope she feels better!!! I think you'll have no problem with two little ones. You're a great mommy!
Hope your little one is feeling better soon! Your loot looks delish -- especially that trail mix! I think I need to find me soem of those Perfect Foods Bars! :)
is it weird that I love looking at other people's groceries?? Love the TJ's loot!
Hope you baby feels better...there's nothing worse than a sick baby who can't tell you what's wrong!
Sick kids are no fun. One time I had both throwing up at the same time. That was an interesting moment.
I hope squirrel feels better real soon.
Poor Squirrel!! I hope she is feeling better now. On the plus side, the food looks great!
Aww, sorry to hear about the Squirrel! Your breakfast sounds perfect to me...it's clear I love my cereal! It's great you're staying active during your pregnancy, you seem to have a really healthy mindset about it! Have a great Friday and hope the Squirrel gets better soon!
Wow, so many awesome Trader Joe's goodies! Your sandwich looks so great, I love ham and jack cheese!
Have a wonderful Friday!
What a good day of eats = yummy.
Hope the Squirrel is feeling better.
There is one more pregnant reader out here...you'll find out who in the weeks to come....I was DYING the other day when you announced that you were, and I couldn't share my news too.
So sorry to hear about the squirrel...is she better yet? Tummy things are awful especially to watch your kids go through it. Messy huh!!
Your Tj's loot does look great. That has become my "go-to" market. Great prices and excellent quality!
Awww... poor little squirrely squirrel. :( That makes me so sad to hear that she is not feeling well.
I'm sad to say that I, also, am not your preggo bloggo... :(
Looking at all of your goodies from TJ's is making my stomach growl! You sam-ich looked so yummy and your dinner looked absolutely scruptious! Sans the shrimp, though. (I'm allergic - boo!) Will you come cook for me??!!
Good luck with the pilates. I don't do pilates because it hurts my back. I hope you find it worth your time!!
Not sure if I've said this to you, but I'm SO jealous of your US grocery stores! I'm going in to Toronto this weekend so I'll hit up 2 of my faves, but they still won't have some of the yogurts I'm dying to try!
Sorry about the squirrel, poor thing, and poor you.
Poor baby...I hope she is feeling better and what a good mama you are!!! :)
sorry, that was supposed to be "scrumptious"...
So sorry about your child. I am always so impressed with mothers who deal with sick children!
I have MAJOR issued with vomit/throwing up and it really is a problem.
I would love to have children someday, but the whole sick part scares me the most. I know it sounds crazy. But when you have a phobia...that is how things are.
My hope is that I will love them so much and simply feel so bad for them, that the vomit will not bother me. Maybe I can "practice" on my husband, but so far he has not been sick. He has a stomach made of steel.☺
Alright now... One of you have GOT to be pregnant... Are you sure it's not any of you??? Haha :)
I'm sorry you had to go through that. It's so hard to be a mommy and not be able to "fix" their pain. You did wonderfully I'm sure. I hope she's feeling better.
Nice bundle...love TJ's!....food looks great too!
xoxo
I so wish we had a Trader Joes here!
Anyways, just wanted to say thanks for the comment on my blog--you are in my reader now and I'll come back lots :)
LOL well I can tell you for sure it's not me ;)
Your food from today all looks SO good! I want to recreate that sandwich... but I have no ham and not really any real cheese :( And no sourdough bread lol!
Awh im sorry about you're daughter, I hope she feels better!
Love all the TJ stuff, and you're eats look delicious, especially that cereal:)
Im new to blogging if you have a chance check out my blog

Oh poor baby, there's nothing worse than being sick all night!
oh my goodness! your poor peanut! She is so freaking cute- I love all the pictures of her from your trip to TJs!!! And what great products you got! I love love TJs...I wish we had one close by. I hit it up every time we visit Josh's parents in Nashville or Josh's mom send it to me in Charleston :). Great workout plan for the week. PUMMMMP!
'Snot me! Also, so sorry about Squirrel. You're taking good care. Have a good weekend, and take a nap when you need one. Those first weeks are the most tiring I think.
Your haul from Trader Joe's looks great. We don't have Trader Joe's in New Zealand, which is probably a good thing - I would probably try to find a way to move in there - like Novalee living in Walmart in "Where the Heart Is".
That peanut butter bar looks beyond delicious! I've never heard of them before!
Hey girl! Thanks so much for swinging by my blog! I love Trader Joe's I really need to get there soon and stock up!
That's so exciting! I think when I am pregnant, I'll probably do the same routine too. I see alot of pregnant women at the gym right alongside me actually.
Lol, it's not me either!
I'm sorry about the throwing up incident, I hope she is feeling better now!
so sorry she's sick. I know how it goe.s Ugh.
TJs sunflo seed butter is probably my fave nut butter ever...for the ones that are like $4 bucks a jar, really,i think it's the best!
Seeing that awesome Trader Joe's makes me wish I was at home so I could go to TJ's. PA doesn't have one near me... I don`t know if they have one at all. Your dinner looked delish!
I'm not pregnant so no advice there... congratulations! I love TJ's. Have you tried the Wasabi Wow! If you like trail mix, this it mixed with wasabi peas. Its also one of the lowest calorie mixes I've found. I also love, love Better n' Peanut Butter, and finally edamame crackers. yummmmm
