We planned to be at the hangar early so we'd have time to see the husband flying in. We literally walked into the hangar and could see them flying in... See the 6 helos?
It was so neat and exciting!

We are so happy Daddy is home!
The squirrel was definitely a little shy at first. By the time we got to the car though she was saying "Daddy daddy daddy". Then she wouldn't even let me hold her! She only wanted Daddy. I think she surprised us both. I thought it would take a day or so for her to warm up to him. Not at all!
When we got home he showered and we headed down to Kornerstone Bistro... Where I got spoiled AGAIN and had my sweet potato ravioli! Happy birthday to meeeee :)
We really are happy to have him home. It's been a long 2 1/2 months. Honestly, we both said it feels like he never left. He just fit right back in. Which is nice. In the past it's taken some time to adjust back to normal. Maybe we're getting used to this?
I will definitely pick back up with regular blogging here soon. The husband got some incredible pictures of Haiti while he was there and I want to share them with you... I just need to see which ones I'm allowed to post online. So those will be coming soon!
I'll leave you guys with some cute pictures of this morning. The husband had to go into work for an hour or so but he will be off the next 2 weeks so I'm not complaining. Him and the squirrel playing with bubbles...

That is WONDERFUL news!!! =) =) =) I always get teary eyes when military daddies come home! I admire so much how strong military wives are!! And of course I admire what our military men do! So glad everything is going so smoothly.
