I may have had one or two or three slices of it. I couldn't stop!
Breakfast this morning was a whole grain bagel scooped out, with 2 tablespoons honey walnut cream cheese. Plus more strawberries. The only reason I scooped the insides of the bagel out is because I don't really like these bagels. They are really bready (is that a word)? They are really dense. I like light, airy, bagel-shop bagels. These are almost cake-like. However, they do have 10 grams of protein!

Y'all I had so many strawberries I didn't know what to do with them. They were super ripe too so I needed to figure something out!
So for lunch I made this...

Strawberry vinaigrette! It was just strawberries, olive oil, balsamic, a splash of orange juice, and a drizzle of honey. All blended in the food processor.
It made my salad super yummy!

(Spring mix, feta, toasted almonds, and roasted sweet potatoes)
And for dessert these two got married...

This combo was delish! Galaxy not sweet granola and Stonyfield maple vanilla yogurt. It was my last yogurt. :(
And I'll leave you guys with the squirrel being cute. Check out how well she knows her fresh produce! Maybe she'll be a farmer?
Also! Don't forget to enter the book giveaway!
AND a question for you guys!!!
Have any of you done any canning? I was really thinking about canning my own strawberry jam for Christmas presents and maybe giveaways. HOWEVER, I don't have a canner and have no clue how to do it.
Do you need to have a canner to seal the jars?

lol. that video is so cute. the only kid i know that willingly eats a broccoli floret...
you dont need a sealer, at least ive never needed one. buy the canning jars that have the lid and then the round thing to screw it down. when you boil the jars they seal themselves...
how adorable!!!!! love the video, and how cute that she actually chose the broccoli over the strawberries!
I think that is a great idea for gifts. I personally have never done canning, but I do plan sometime soon to make my own jam.
My grandmother used to can fruits but I've never done it. There must be some easy step-by-step YouTube video or something... ;)
I have never canned before!
What a great salad dressing you made with the strawberries, it looks delicious! I will have to try that!
My mom makes a freezer strawberry jam that doesn't have to be sealed. You just store small tupperware containers in the freezer until you're ready to use it. I'm sure the recipe is on allrecipes.com or recipezaar.com
I love homemade dressings - they add something so special to a salad!
oh my gosh yall are so adorable. i would LOVE to can something but i dk how to do it!
I am the wrong person to ask about jam...
That salad is so simple and looks so good! Great dressing too, I never would have thought to make it!
Awwww I love the video!! I'd love to see more of them, she is too cute :) That dressing looks seriously AMAZING, it's so simple but the color is just beautiful! Hope you're having a great week!
The video is so cute!! I love how into the broccoli she is. And it just shows how well you are teaching her to eat healthy foods.
I made jam once. Just used a big 'ol pot and boiled the jars until the lids popped.
Also there is some cool stuff you can use to reduce the sugar. Oh I wish I could remember that one product that starts with P. Not pectin, hmm...
Try Youtube/Google for canning ideas!
OMG she is like the cutest thing EVER!! I just watched that video 3 times ;-)
I need to make my own salad dressing at some point, I always forget I can do that!
That pizza looks sooo good!
Love the video what a smart/healthy girl!
Yum...that pizza looks awesome! Does your mom deliver?!?
wow home-made dressing!? I'm impressed. I don't think that having too many strawberries can ever be a bad thing
WOW that pizza is homemade?? Looks amazing!!
you can't beat 10 grams of protein in a bagel!
the squirrel is adorable :) and love that she just started taking a bite out of the broccoli!!
i haven't tried canning, but don't you just have to have something large enough to boil the jars?
Squirrel is so adorable!!! You stopped at three slices? I may have eaten the entire thing!
I have no clue about canning, but what a great idea for the vinaigrette. I love the idea of adding the strawberries. I bet it gave it such a great flavor!
Oh, you totally need bagel thins (thomas makes them) if you don't like all the extra bread a bagel has! I'm the same way with bagels, too much on the inside. The bagel thins are great though!
And man that pizza.... it's my weakness. Totally.
Many Many thanks for this amazing post thanks again.
