Wow I pretty much dropped off the face of the blog Earth huh?! We've been SUPER busy here at my house. And in all honesty it has been nice to unplug for a bit. I have missed blogging though and have missed reading all of your blogs!
Thank you for all of your sweet comments on my last post. It is SO good to have the husband home! I had him read all of your comments and he really appreciates your thank you's! He actually followed the blog while he was in Haiti. Amazingly, it was one of the only websites he could access on the military's restricted internet.
A lot of you commented on the squirrel looking like her daddy. When it's just the squirrel and I people say "She looks JUST like her Mama!". I always say "Thank you but no she doesn't!". I was pretty disappointed at first when she looked like my husband because little girls are supposed to look like their moms! BUT I've come to appreciate it. When he's gone it's nice to have a little "him" around! I swear sometimes I'm looking into his eyes when I stare at her. It's a crazy feeling.
So let me tell you what we've been up to the past week.
Lots of healthy and junky foods!

Y'all... I have been trying so hard to eat healthy. But those few pictures I shared with you are about the only healthy meals I've eaten. My husband LOVES to eat! But thankfully he loves to eat good food. Not healthy good food but expensive good food.
Our local farmer's market opened yesterday so hopefully I'll be back on track soon enough.

We had a fantastic Easter! The squirrel had a blast, we ate incredible food, and spent some time with our family.

It's been warm here (80 degrees) so we've spent the majority of our time outside.
The squirrel has discovered blowing bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and the sprinkler!

We've really just been spending a lot of time with just the 3 of us!

Today we are packing for our Savannah/Nana and Granpa trips! The husband and I are off on a romantic weekend to Savannah, GA starting tomorrow evening. The squirrel is headed to her grandparents for an exciting weekend with them!
I can't wait to post food pictures of Savannah! I am so excited to EAT!
Off to work on my google reader! :)
Morgan over at Healthy Happy Place is giving away VitaTops!

SO happy that you are having a great time with the hubby. Your food looks good! Those cupcakes look so yummy! And squirrel is adorable as always!
Ok, I'm totally gonna freak you out here. But the other night I had a dream that you came to my house and I showed you my empty PB jar that I was going to make overnight oats in. Um. Creepy, huh!? LOL! The funny thing is, I think it was because I had made them that night and I was really excited to try them from the empty jar like you had suggested. I hope you are not freaked out by this! haha!
Gad you are having a good time. I think the squirrel looks like both of you.
What great family photos! Nice. I'm SO jealous of your farmers market opening! Ours opens May 1, and I hope to be selling by mid month.
So happy for you and your fam.
Have a great weekend away!
