What's New?

I guess my past 5 posts should be titled "Sorry for being MIA!". I have had no motivation you guys!

Probably because we've been doing lots of this:

Some serious Daddy lovin! Plus lots of this:

The squirrel got a new slide!

I have been taking lots of food pictures though so I'm going to warn you in advance. This post is going to be all over the place! I've been trying a lot of new products so I'm excited to share some of my reviews with you!

For breakfast I've been doing my usual. Egg whites, laughing cow, and ham on a bagel thin. Instead of the whole wheat bagel thin I've been using the everything. They both have the same amount of fiber and protein! The everything is just tastier!

I've been eating a lot of hummus for lunch lately... My NEW
Sabra hummus we found in Savannah. My favorite flavor so far! It is so refreshing!

Today I had a cucumber, hummus, spinach and turkey bagel thin. With 2% cottage cheese and a tablespoon of pear butter. We don't recycle (long story) so I keep all of my yogurt cups. They are perfect for portioning things like cottage cheese, pretzels, chips, or any other snacks. They are also perfect for the squirrel to eat her snacks in!

The other day I tried a Bumblebee tuna sensation. Pretty yummy! I used a sandwich thin, swiss cheese, and tuna.

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the crackers that came with it. They were flavorless and had no nutritional value. Even the squirrel wouldn't eat them...

The pregnancy cravings have kicked in. One craving has been this new Stonyfield maple vanilla yogurt. I literally bought out a store near me. Amazingly, this stuff is only a limited edition! What are you thinking Stonyfield?! This yogurt is heaven...

The squirrel loves it too... But I don't like to share...

I've also been craving pretzels...

Paired with diet coke.

I can drink diet coke as long as it's made with splenda. No aspartame.

At least my cravings aren't french fries and icecream! Yet.....

I've got to go catch up on your blogs! You guys have been awfully busy! :)

Maple vanilla sounds like an autumn flavor -- how funny you'd find it in spring. Hopefully they keep stocking it at least the entire time you're pregnant. ;)

What a precious picture of father and daughter. I wouldn't be spending my time on the computer either if I had my family back together again! You all look so happy :)

So what's the long story about not recycling? Is it b/c you are on a base? (Now, that I say that I'm not sure if you are on a base...)

And how far along are you now? Love those pregnancy cravings!!! Enjoy your daddy time, you guys deserve it!

Looks like some great, quality lovin' time and some good eats too.

Don't even worry about the lack of postage, I understand that family time is much more important!! I love the Bumblebee packages, I used to bring them in my lunch in HS all the time :) And I didn't even know they made DC with Splenda, I'll have to keep an eye out for that! Hope you have a great week!

I don't think anyone could blame you for enjoying your time with your family! I say: keep on doing it! ;) I still quite enjoy reading your posts though :)

ps: totally wish we had that stonyfield flavor here! Unfortunately, there's only 4 flavors in Ottawa, as far as I know :(

You are so funny with the cravings...I'm sure I'll crave more PB and ice cream than I already do! I can't find the bagel thins here, though have seen them in Florida, so they must not have made their way to the north yet!

I love, love, love Sabra's hummus. My fave is roasted red pepper!! I haven't seen the lemon kind, so I will have to look for it!

Your food always looks so good!

I've been going through the pretzel cravings too! That's awesome that your doctor said you can have Diet Coke wth Splenda. Mine tells me to stay away from it all. (Boo to him!)

Oooh I want to try the everything bagel thins. I love love love everything bagels but they never have a whole wheat version and, like you, I am a fan of the fiber.
