Wally Biscotti Review

Dinner last night was spaghetti and tomato sauce. Plus a small piece of garlic bread.

This morning for breakfast I did a fried egg on Great Harvest dakota bread. Plus some laughing cow cheese... Oh and dessert... Did you know you get to have dessert after every meal? I had a
Bada Bing from Wally Biscotti.

I got a big ol' package yesterday from Nicole at
Wally Biscotti.

She sent me 4 flavors to try.

Razzleberry Krunch (cherry chips with the whole green pistachios), 3D Fudge Brownie (chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate!), Bada Bing (chocolate chip), and Wally Special (white chocolate, cranberry, and almonds).

I dipped each one in tea yesterday and holy moly! These are delicious! I love each of them in their own little ways. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite! They would also be awesome in coffee. The squirrel was also a huge fan. I couldn't find the nutritional information for them but Nicole informed me that they are pretty low in calorie! Perfect for this pregnant lady!

So since the husband had the morning/mid afternoon off today we headed out for lunch. (This is becoming a trend...). We ended up at Hibachi Bistro. Normally I get chicken, veggies, and steamed rice. I noticed they had wheat noodle bowls on the menu so I tried one of those today.

I was definitely hoping for something lighter and more veggies. The noodles were drenched with sauce/oil. I think I'll stick to veggies and rice next time.

After lunch we headed over to Lovey's Market.

It's just a natural food store near us. Kath over at KERF has been there for lunch. She's also been to our Great Harvest Bread Co.

I ended up with some goodies but I'll share them with you later!

After Lovey's we headed to Luna Pops! I got my favorite flavor, sea salt caramel.

I love the sweetness and then the little bites of kosher salt in the middle.

We normally get the squirrel a sea salt caramel too but this time we got her a smores. Secretly, I just wanted to try the smores! Hey, that's what you get to do when you become a mom!

She was a fan but I'll stick to my fav!

And now since I've been blogging about those biscotti's I've got to have one!

Those noodles are just glistening with grease. It. Looks. So. Good. And no judgment on daily desserts--it sounds like a good idea to me!

Oh I totally clicked on that Luna Pops link and now I'm jealous. Try the avocado and chai flavors for me will you?? The sea salt caramel one looks fantastic.

I hate greasy noodles, blech. I also hate having regrets when I order new-to-me meals.

I love biscotti and these look great. I had a ginger one over the weekend, which is my new favorite. The Luna bars look so good, too. I've got to look for them in NYC.

LunaPops sounds so cool. You have some great places to go down in NC, from what I've read. I was looking at their website, and listen to some of their flavors - basil cream, chai, gingerbread, pineapple wasabi ginger. Wow! It's like gelato in popsicle form.

Wow how gorgeous are your pictures...or your food i mean!! I'm a SUCKER for biscotti but have found them to be too expensive to buy (in general) so have resorted to baking them at home. The only problem is that i have no self control when a fresh batch of biscotti come out of hte oven!!

WOW those flavors of biscotti sound so delicious. Thank you for a lovely review!

P.s. I'm hosting a giveaway for organic fair trade preserves! Does strawberry basil and blueberry merlot jam sound up your alley? :)

The noodles do look greasy, but I bet they were still tasty! The popsicles/ice cream bars look great, just what sunny weather calls for!
