Peanut Butter Creations

This morning for breakfast I tried a new cereal. I'm not sure if it's "new" but it's new to me!

I love the nutritional stats of the regular Kashi GoLean but it kinda tastes like cardboard. This is Kashi GoLean Crisp and holy moly its GOOD!

I put some fresh, local blueberries on the top and added some almond milk. Good and actually pretty filling for a cereal.

So I have to share this with y'all. Last night I had a good idea for a recipe...

The stars of the show were these two guys...

Peanut Butter & Co Dark Chocolate Dreams and Smooth Operator.

We've been grilling like crazy lately so I thought it might be neat to do a grilled dessert.

I had the husband throw a banana on a VERY hot grill.

Just enough to sear the nanner. If the grill isn't hot enough or if you leave it on too long the banana will turn to mush. While he did that I prepared the graham crackers.

One with just Dark Chocolate Dreams and the other with Smooth Operator and dark chocolate chips.

Then I added the banana... This is the one with Dark Chocolate Dreams...

And the one with Smooth Operator and chocolate chips...

They were both delicious! Grilled bananas are YUMMO!

And of course we did the usual...

Regular ol' smores.

And then the husband got carried away...
He toasted a mallow and smashed it between 2 chocolate chip cookies.

And I'm wondering why I've gained so much weight during this pregnancy?! ;)

What's your favorite thing to make on the grill?

I want that last smore with the chocolate chip cookies!! Brilliant idea, hehe!!

I used to be obsessed with Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal... I'm assuming the crisp cereal is different? I'll have to try it out once my weird food aversions go away.

I love the idea of grilling bananas. I think they are my favorite fruit :) I love banana, chocolate and peanut butter together, but I have never put it on a graham cracker. Great idea! I have to say...I love your hubby's idea too. Yum!

YEAH! GO HUBBY!! That's what Nick would do too, use chocolate chip cookies. MEN! They can get away with anything....

The cereal sounds delicious. I am on such an oat kick lately I just can't get out of it, even in the summer!!

This looks GOOD. Grilling fruit is delicious...have you ever tried pineapple? The sweetness it brings out is out of this world!

I've not seen that cereal in Canada. I'm sure we don't have it.

The 'smores' look amazing!!! Melted chocolate! YUMMY!

The grilled bananas/smores look awesome!! I've also had a hankering for them and satisfied my craving a few weeks ago. I'm also gaining more weight than I should be with the pregnancy, but I'm learning to deal with the indulgences!

You've really reinvented the s'more. YUM! Lars is the same way with his food...he goes completely wild! I have to hide the chocolate chips when I make brownies.

I think the Go Lean Crisp is relatively new. I had it the other week. Yum.
