We made oatmeal banana nut pancakes with cinnamon butter.
For the pancakes mix together:
-1 cup pancake mix (I used Kodiak Cakes mix - of course!)
-1/4 cup rolled oats
-1/2 cup mashed banana
-1/4 cup chopped walnuts
-1 cup milk
For the cinnamon butter I just smashed equal parts butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and a splash of vanilla together with a fork.
We topped the pancakes with the cinnamon butter and pure maple syrup. So yummy!
It was a gorgeous day today. Both kiddos were in really good moods so we spent most of the day outside.
The husband found a lizard and squirrel had a blast carrying him around. We eventually let him go.
For lunch it was my idea to have a picnic but daddy's idea for hotdogs. Go figure.
I couldn't pass up a hotdog on a day like today. I had a hotdog, a small handful of chips, and strawberries.
I'm thankful we ate outside. This kid made a MESS.
After lunch all hell broke loose. The squirrel is funny. She never tells us she's hungry so when she's cranky we know she's hungry and then as soon as she eats.... She acts like this...
CRAZY!
She's hilarious!
What a wonderful Sunday! We are off to my parents house for dinner. See you guys tomorrow!

I'd give anything for that glorious sunshine where you live! We are still in the heart of winter here...a grilled hot dog and fresh strawberries sounds so summery to me!
