Family Time

Yesterday afternoon/evening was great. Spending time with family and making good food is probably my favorite things to do in life.

Squirrel helped daddy clean shrimp for dinner.

She's a pro!  I get grossed out.

We did some grillin' at my parents house.

Shrimp, ribs, pasta salad, baked beans... I forgot to take a picture but it was all delicious.

Last night I made breakfast.

Raspberry overnight oats.

1/3c rolled oats, 1/3c vanilla yogurt, 1/3c soymilk, and probably a cup of fresh raspberries.

Midmorning I ate a pear that was annoyingly juicy but good.

And for lunch we went out to Hibachi Bistro in Wilmington.  I had the veggie whole wheat noodle bowl.  It was good but I was hoping for more veggies.

I also boosted my chances for the mother of the year award...

Ehhh it kept her entertained...

If you are a mom what would make you win the mother of the year award?
Yes sarcasm is being applied.
