Squirrel and I made Mama Pea's vegan funky monkey pie.

It's in her book and it's worth buying just for this recipe.

We literally could not stop eating the filling.

It barely made it to the pie crust.

Unbelievable.

I've made several recipes already and haven't had one that hasn't been flawless.

I have so many more to try...

So last nights dinner featured two more blogger foods. Mama Peas cornbread (another winner).

And Kath's chili. Which was good but more like a soup.

Topped with greek yogurt and a sprinkle of cheese.

For dessert?

Pie of course!
We put the babies to bed and worked out with the kinect.

Breakfast this morning was a microwaved egg sandwich plus coffee.

I could eat these everyday!

And finally lunch today was a salad made with mixed greens, carrots, celery, chickpeas, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, and an Amy's veggie burger. Topped with Mmmm Sauce.

Hope you are having a great day!

Hard to pick just one, so my two favorites are Mama Pea's pumpkin scones and Edible Perspectives Asian Sesame Glazed Brussels Sprouts. Mmmm..
I like Mmm sauce too!
Your daughter is adorable!!!
I also love mama pea, and her book! I need to start making some recipes from it!
Happy Wednesday!
everything looks wodnerful here.
I get a tone of recipes from smitten kitchen and pioneer woman.
Smitten kitchen has the best pumpkin muffin recipe I've ever had! Can't wait for Mama Peas new book.
Looks like you found some great recipes. Now I have a craving for chili! I am not sure which blogger recipe is my favorite because there are tons of good ones out there and I feel like ever time I turn on my computer I am finding something new that I want to try.
Ok, embarrasing confession, I got Mama Pea's book in August and haven't tried a single recipe! I need to get back in the kitchen!
Love the Kinect workout date. It will be great once we have figured out the Wrigley bed time thing so we can use that time together.
