Whole grain toast with wild squirrel sneaky cinnamon, banana, and chias.
Even the husband had some. He's more of an eggs and bacon kind of guy. He was infatuated with the wild squirrel peanut butters I got so he wanted to try some.
As a family we are on round three of clementines. I think I buy the 3lb bag.

We all love them so that's what we snacked on midmorning.

Definitely our winter fruit!

We were lucky to have daddy home today so lunch was eaten out at Zoes Kitchen. We like Zoes because it's fresh and the kids eat anything there.
We all shared hummus and pita bread.

I had the lean turkey pita with turkey and feta coleslaw.

And I got a soy vanilla latte at the Starbucks next door for dessert.

Coffee makes me happy!

I love that our family usually eats the same. I rarely make a separate meal for the kids or my husband.
Does your family eat separate meals?

Kristen, I love your blog! The layout is so pretty.
Andy and I don't eat separate meals. We try to compromise on what we make so that we'll both enjoy it. It's nice. Hopefully when we have kids, they'll follow our lead.
Toast with chia seeds, pb and banana looks delicious! I need to try that.
Thanks Amanda! We compromise a lot too.
oh that breakfast looks like the perfect way to start the day!
I love Zoe's! Especially their slaw - so good!
My hubby likes bacon and eggs too but I'm more French toast or waffles. I definitely end up making too much food for breakfast in the weekends,
Oh my goodness, your little girl is GORGEOUS!
I'm lucky I just have Andrew and I to cook for and he'll eat anything :) I do get nervous when people come for dinner though- I never know if I should make them something non-vegan or not.
Thanks for stopping by Eat Run Write! I'm glad to have found your blog.
I love the idea of Starbucks for dessert!........:) I'm really lucky that my husband is such a good sport. He will try almost anything I cook. I guess if figures if I went through the trouble of cooking it he can go through the trouble of eating it, even if it's not his favorite. That doesn't mean I don't try and make things he likes or might like, but either way he never complains. Love the chia seeds on the toast too. Thanks for finding me so I could find you!
We do not eat separate meals and I refuse to make them!
