Iced Coffee Treat

We did something unusual last night. We went to one of our favorite pizza places for dinner. Little buddy is at the worst age for any type of sit down take forever to get your food kind of place. We might go somewhere for lunch only because it's usually quick. Last night we got a large pepperoni. Guess how many pieces I had?

UNO.

It was some amazing willpower but I did it.

Breakfast this morning was an instant pack of organic oatmeal.

Topped with banana and wild squirrel bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Peanut butter and coffee.  My kind of thing!

Breakfast was instant oatmeal because we are low on groceries.

We did some grocery shopping and stopped at Chick-fil-a for lunch.

Grilled chicken sandwich and fries.  I can't resist the waffle fries.

This afternoon I had my new favorite treat.  I have one of these every afternoon.  It gets me to dinner time and I have something to look forward to!

Starbucks instant iced coffee.

I make coffee ice cubes especially for this.

Just pour extra coffee in ice cube trays and then store them in a freezer bag.

Sometimes I add some of the kid's chocolate milk...  ICED MOCHA!

Usually it's an instant coffee pack, coffee cubes, and soy milk.

Gets me through the afternoon.

I'm planning on doing a grocery shopping post... I love to see what other bloggers get at the grocery store!

Do you???

I love iced coffee and drink it all winter, but just use milk for it. I was at Whole Foods this morning -- Greek yogurt, salad greens, mushrooms, low-fat popcorn, pita chips to bring to my friends' house this afternoon, olives and artichokes from the olive bar and the best tangerine I've ever had, organic gold nugget. It was as good as eating candy. Just bought one, but thinking of going back tomorrow for half a dozen.

Mmm I love iced coffee, but I'm not a fan of the pre-sweetened kinds (though I've never tried the Sbux version). BUT, putting coffee ice-cubes in your drink? GENIUS! I can't drink soy milk, but I might try the chocolate trick with some regular chocolate milk. Great post : )

See I love seeing what other people buy! I'm a product junkie :) I never drink my coffee sweet but these instant iced coffees are amazing. Such a treat especially in the afternoon when I'm about done for the day!
