Last Salad

Dinner last night was spaghetti. I have a love hate relationship with spaghetti. My whole family loves it, it is nutritious and it is easy to make. However...

Oh the mess.

Last night I made the pasta, added a jar of Bertolli organic tomato basil, added some homemade meatballs and put it all in a 9x13 dish.  I put fresh mozzarella and parmesan on the top and baked it for 30 minutes.

I skipped the meatballs and had pasta, sauce, and cheese.

Plus I made roasted garlic cauliflower.  This was a HUGE hit in my house.  The kiddos loved it.

I've been working out with the kinect at home.  Yesterday I did 30 minutes of yoga.  It felt amazing.  I'm loving Your Shape on the kinect.  There are a bunch of different work outs some short some long.
Beats dragging two kids to the gym or on a run when it's 19* outside.

This morning was a microwaved egg kind of morning.  I just didn't have time.  It would have been a perfect overnight oat morning but I wasn't prepared.

This morning I did a whole egg...

On Ezekiel toast spread with laughing cow cheese.

And I know you are tired of seeing lunch...

This was my last tupperware of salad.

Mixed greens, celery, carrots, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, leftover roasted garlic cauliflower, chickpeas, a couple of Alexia sweet potato puffs, and Mmmm Sauce.

I am so glad it's FRIDAY!

What are your favorite at home workouts?

I have pictures of my daughter around that age with pasta sauce all over her face - now she's 19 and hates red sauce!

I love exercise tv on demand - I have AT&T and there are usually at least 50 different shows to pick from. :D

I love Jillian Michaels workout DVDs but I just found out I'm pregnant for the first time and I'm nervous about pushing myself to hard aerobically. So far I'm sticking to walking around the neighborhood.
