Last night's dinner started off with some vino.

Since I've been watching what I eat I haven't drank much alcohol. It seems like such a waste of calories. I needed it though last night.
I made chicken stir fry but added leftover brown rice instead of noodles.

It was just ok. Noodles are just better.

Since I was drinking wine last night squirrel said she needed a glass while she talked to daddy on his way home from work.

These pictures crack me up. That's a plastic glass and water in case you are wondering.

She looks so grown up!
Breakfast was kodiak cakes pancakes!

With banana and maple syrup.
Lunch was eaten out at Buffalo Wild Wings. 4 honey BBQ boneless wings and a side of fries. Have you ever tried to order something healthy at a place like BWW? Using this website I guessed my calorie intake was around 700.

Y'all remember how I feel about salads? I hate ordering salads from a restaurant. It just isn't good and it got to the point where I didn't even want to go out to eat.. I was telling my husband about my salad anxiety and he said to me "why don't you just get something small?" Here I'd been stressing out about having to get a salad that I never thought outside the box. Why can't I get something I actually do like just in a smaller version? We rarely eat at places like BWW so I should enjoy it when we do go. 700 calories is a lot especially for a meal that wasn't nutritious but I really really enjoyed splurging on those wings and fries. It was totally worth it!
What is your healthy game plan at restaurants?

Love this post :)
Your little one is adorable!!!
I don't like to order salads at restaurants....I try to make healthy choices, but at other times I like to splurge a little!
We have friends who love Buffalo Wild Wings so when we go I get the grilled naked wings with lots of dipping sauces. Ours has the calorie counts on the menu so that helps.
You had me at vino!
I generally order an appetiser or two for my meal, and I try to share with my dinner date so that it doesn't all end up in my tummy.
oh that picture cracks me up- you will defnitely have to show her that when she's 16 and talking to a boy :)
I love all the ideas at restaurants! It's sad that you can barely find something to eat that is healthy :(
That glass of wine looks delicious and I can not wait to have one again. Your little one is so cute in those picutes!
