I've been using that recipe from all recipes for a long time. It turns out amazing every time and both kids gobble it up. It isn't overwhelmingly "asian-flavored" and is super healthy. I follow the recipe except I omit the celery and onion. I usually use part sesame and part canola oil and I always use whole wheat spaghetti. I use about 8 ounces of pasta or 2 ounces per person in our house. The babies usually don't eat 2 ounces a piece so this leaves extra for the husband. I just toss the cooked pasta in the pan right at the end to coat the noodles in the sauce.

Easy, healthy, one pan meal.
Breakfast this morning was a Mama Pea zee bar.

I really like these but the kids picked the chocolate off the top and didn't eat the rest. WEIRD. My kids will eat anything...
Plus coffee.

I had to drop squirrelly-o off at school and take little buddy for his 15mos check up. I packed a chopped apple for the road.

When I got home there was a package at the door.

FINALLY. I was so excited to try these. Wild squirrel nut butter is just one of those cute companies. The website is cute, the label is cute, the girls who own it are cute, the titles are cute. Plus their name is wild squirrel!

Like this wild squirrel!
Their nut butter is not cute though... It's DELICIOUS!
I cracked open the sneaky cinnamon and put it on toast for lunch.

Along with a salad of mixed greens, leftover chicken, carrots, toasted pecans, and cinnamon dressing.
I am SO glad it's FRIDAY!!!
Have you tried any new products lately?
