We had guacamole

Cheese dip (sliced white american cheese from the deli, milk, and jarred jalapeƱos)

And chips! I probably had two chips and a little dip. I was impressed with my willpower.

Our main course were brisket tacos. I made one taco with a little brisket, cheese, lettuce, guac, salsa, and avocado ranch.

The food wasn't my weakness...

It was the wine! I had two good size glasses.
It's not really the calories of the wine that get me. It's the munchiness afterwards.

Yesterday I made Katie's cookie dough dip so I had a couple of graham crackers with that on it last night along with a glass of almond milk. Not too bad for the munchies!
Breakfast was eaten out and I had two eggs and a slice of wheat toast.
For lunch I made a grilled hummus and reduced fat cheddar wrap. Plus carrots on the side.

Seeing the cookie dough dip pictures really makes me want some right now. It's delicious!

And addicting dipped in almond milk!

What is your weakness at parties?

Chips. I don't usually buy them, but I can't stop munching when there is bowl of potato chips. Dinner out tonight and I'm having a cup of decaf now to feel a little fuller.

I really struggle with chips and dips. Especially if the dip is cheesy. Oh man, I try to make sure I eat something fiber/protein heavy before parties and that helps a lot.

Little finger foods are so tempting to me! I love appetizers so it's nearly impossible for me to avoid them. Dessert too is hard. It just rounds out my meal and satisfies me. And the only reason I didn't inhale the chips last night was because I kept myself busy cooking. :)

My weakness is that I just keep on munching. Everything is so little, and I say "one won't hurt me." Problem is, I say that like 20 times, and, yes 20 will hurt me!

That cookie dough dip looks fantastic! I've had a wine-heavy weekend too. I'm almost looking forward to getting back into the healthier routine of my weekdays. I fail at self restraint when it comes to parties with a whole lot of desserts. I always want some of everything!
