Yesterday was a rest day so I broke out my yoga mat for some serious stretching. The only thing I would change about my workout is my stretching. I cannot remember to stretch afterwards! It's probably the reason I'm so sore all the time.
I got a little stretching in before anyone realized I had my mat out.
It quickly became a play area...
A good place to hug it out...
And a place for literal down dogs.
I didn't get much stretching done! For some reason my children and dogs are instantly attracted to my yoga mat!
For dinner I made the husband turkey taco lettuce wraps. This exact recipe is coming soon!
We had a ton of mexican stuff leftover from the other night.
Mine consisted of a turkey burger brown rice mix, avocado, 2% cheddar, and fresh pico (thanks to our neighbors).
Plus we all ate an obscene amount of cookie dough dip... with a spoon! My kids LOVE this.
This morning the husband had off so he tagged along to the gym with me. I had a protein shake and did an hour of cardio on the elliptical.
When we got home I broke out some new stuff!
I toasted a sandwich thin, added some of that laughing cow cinnamon spread with banana and chias.
Amazing amazing amazing. I have been really craving a bagel with cream cheese so this really hit the spot.
Squirrel liked it too. She ate it on graham crackers.
And then proceeded to dunk the graham crackers in my coffee.
She'll be wired for the rest of the day!
I'm posting this early because we have a busy day. Lunch at Atlanta Bread, a doctors appointment, a hair appointment, and dinner at a friends house!
