A couple recent breakfasts:

-Whole grain pancake strips to dip in pure maple syrup + banana
-A mix of cereals (cheerios, kashi go lean crisp, granola) with skim milk + blueberries
-More pancakes! w/ mini chocolate chips + banana, blueberries, strawberries
-One scrambled egg with 2% sharp cheddar + blueberries
Some lunch and dinner:

-Mommy's mac-n-cheese (whole wheat elbows, 2% cheddar, earth balance) + peas
-Whole wheat spaghetti with bison meatballs, organic tomato sauce, and parmesan + broccoli
-Crackers, clementine, turkey, carrots, cheese, and hummus
It's been a crazy couple days over here. There isn't anything worse than having two sick kids whining... and whining... and whining. This morning for instance I was trying to balance the checkbook and had one kid crying in my lap because and the other one was crying to sit in my lap. Before all three of us were crying I remembered this post I read earlier from Morgan.

Mess free finger painting saved me this morning! I just put a piece of paper in a ziploc with paint and zipped it up. They could even carry it around the house and NO MESS! When they were bored I tossed it in the trash. I got the checkbook balanced and cleaned up from breakfast.
What's your favorite childhood meal?

Okay, finger paint in a plastic bag....genius!!!!! And I need those cat plates for my girls...too cute!
Love the cute plates! My favorite meal was grilled cheese on homemade sourdough bread with real cheese (like cheddar) with Doritos or oven baked fries. No wonder I struggle with my weight!
Got the plates at Michaels for $1! I stocked up on those. I love that they are divided in two. Grilled cheese on wonder bread with real butter and 2 slices of American cheese was my fav as a kid haha. I obviously struggled with my weight too!

I love seeing what other kids eat. I am always looking for new ideas. Thx.
Chicken parmesan and spaghetti - mom's homemade sauce! So good.
