So basically cookies, cakes, pizza, and quesadillas.
We made quesadillas last night and they were a big help.

They really just ate all the cheese.
I made the quesadillas and they ate dinner off a cutting board standing in a chair.

Bad mom award? Nah... They ate and it was a fun experience.
I made nachos for the husband and I.

I measured everything out so I didn't overdo it in calories. That could have easily happened with the cheese, turkey burger, and chips.

Mine consisted of tortilla chips, taco turkey burger, 2% cheddar, corn, jalapeƱos, onion, and a tablespoon of light ranch dressing. All baked in the oven to melt the cheese.
It was so nice out yesterday that after dinner we played outside.

Once we got the kids to bed we got lost in Lost... We are watching 3 episodes every night!
This morning was the usual. Coffee, protein shake, and the gym for an hour of cardio.
On my way home I stopped for a soy chai tea.

I've been avoiding lattes lately. They are loaded with calories and sugar. Plus they are expensive.
When I got home I used the last of my laughing cow cinnamon on a sandwich thin with banana and chias.

Plus a pear+cinnamon on the side.

Must get more pears now!
I tried something new for lunch...

I spread a whole grain tortilla with reduced fat veggie cream cheese. Then I added 1/2c diced veggies (cucumber, red pepper, and carrot). I rolled it up in plastic wrap and left it in the fridge for a few hours. Then I sliced it like pinwheels.

Delicious! I'm on a cream cheese kick that's for sure.
I made a reservation for tomorrow night at a great restaurant near us. I can't wait for our date night!
What are your plans for the weekend?

Those pin wheels look yummy :) I love cream cheese (well any cheese, really) so much that I definitely have to watch my limits!
@Crystal Me too! It's the one thing I have to measure out every time I eat it.
Hey Kristin! Thank you for coming by my blog! First of all, your kids are just too cute for words! Secondly, thanks for the ideas! The nachos and wraps look so delicious and healthy too! Have a great weekend!
I wasn't hungry until I read this post and now I'm starving! Love, love, loving the his and hers nachos, I need to try that, because if cheese is involved, I can't be restrained!!
Have a great weekend :)

Those veggie pinwheels look so fresh and yummy! I am celebrating a friend's birthday tonight but then it's most likely studying for the remainder of the weekend!
@Mina I am so glad to have come across your blog!
Ooh I love the veggie pinwheel idea!
What time do you put the kiddos to bed? I'm trying to get a feel of how to set Lyric's schedule as she grows.
I'm going to try those pinwheets with chopped fruit and cinnamon laughing cow and with chopped veggies and the lite onion or vgetable cream cheese. Thanks for the idea!

@Graze With Me My children are on a crazy schedule... They go to bed between 8-8:30. No exceptions.
Gotta make some pinwheels! Great idea!
Have you ever tried cream cheese mixed with worchestershire sauce? It's great with crackers and I bet it would add nice flavor to your veggie wraps...just a thought. My dad used to eat cream cheese that way when I was growing up.
