Last night's dinner was... well... interesting. I've had this idea in my head for a veggie lasagna and I tried it last night and it was not so good.

My idea was to almost make a veggie/ricotta paste to put between lasagna noodles. I put spinach, onion, garlic, mushrooms, ricotta, cottage cheese, parmesan, and one egg in my food processor. Then I took that mix and put it between whole wheat lasagna noodles and covered it with sauce and mozzarella. The idea and the ingredients are good... It's the technique that needs work. I also had a salad on the side.
My sister and I snuck out for dessert...

A frozen yogurt place opened up about 5 miles from my house. I had vanilla with blueberries, strawberries, and kashi cereal. Plus a little bit of chocolate and chocolate chips.
This morning was at the usual....

But since I was going to a friends house after the gym I knew I wouldn't have time to eat. I made breakfast to go.

Just egg whites and laughing cow cheese on a toasted sandwich thin.
My trainer was exactly what I needed to get through this funk. It was the hardest workout I've done yet. After 10 minutes it felt like I'd run 10 miles. I could barely breathe and every muscle in my body was shaking after 30 minutes. I did 200 ab reps and 30 minutes of cardio. Those kind of workouts makes everything worth it. He has me doing 3 exercises about 20 reps of each twice. Then I do 3 different exercises about 30 reps twice. Circuit training I guess? One thing I did today was a squat and when I came up I did lateral raises with 8lb weights. 30 times. My shoulders will hurt tomorrow. That's my favorite type of exercise though. I love all the different exercises. It keeps me busy and distracted.
On my way to my friends house I snacked on carrot sticks. I love the ball jars because they fit in my cup holder.

When I got home at 1 I realized I was starving and already sore from the gym...

I made a pickle, cheddar, and mustard sandwich with veggies and hummus on the side. I saw that sandwich over at KERF the other day and had to try it. It was totally satisfying!
What is your favorite kind of exercise?

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to post on yesterday's post...but just read it. We all get drug into the "blogger" hype, me too. I want to make my blog successful, but at the same time I still want to have fun doing it, you know?
And I wish we lived closer as well, I think we'd be good friends!
Favorite kind of workout - that's tough! I love circuit workouts and as far as cardio... I like doing intervals on the treadmill. I've been running on the treadmill and sprinting the last .25 mile and it has really made a difference in my running!
You make me wish I could get a personal trainer. That would be awesome. I could use the motivation.
Favorite exercise? Circuit training!
Spin class. I love reading your posts. Don't change a thing.
I'm on a big yoga kick.
I've been craving lasagna - need to remedy that. No offense, but that pickle and cheese sandwich does nothing for me. :) Pickles, good. Cheese, good. Together, not so much.
My favorite exercise is kickboxing. I love taking out all my aggressions from the day and feeling powerful from the workout.
